We offer a full dry goods and bulk commodity freight barge service between the Humber Port of Goole and Rotherham/Sheffield areas. Goods can be loaded directly from or to sea going ships whilst under customs bond thus deferring VAT and duty payments until the stocks are required.

We have a range of modern 200 to 600 tonne carrying craft with typical barge haulage costs less than 50% of total haulage. One 600 tonne barge carries the equivalent of 24 heavy goods vehicles, and we regularly carry 2000/3000 tonne steel and bulk shipment from the port.

Constructed in 2003, we now offer a dedicated steel export handling service from rail to barge at Corus Thrybergh Mills Rotherham for movement to Goole. Long term movement of freight by inland waterway can qualify for Government Freight Facility Capital grants in recognition of the Environmental benefits of this alternative means of transport.
